From ‘First Thought’ to ‘Successful Birth Centre’
10 years ago the Mamatoto midwives got together to try to change womens’ experience of childbirth in Trinidad.
To celebrate their transition from ‘First Thought’ to ‘Successful Birth Centre’ the midwives, other professionals, parents, staff and supporters enjoyed a film showing of ‘It’s My Body’ My Baby’ My Birth’ on Saturday 29th October 2011 to honour the spirit and contribution that Mamatoto provides to the community.
